Terrible protagonist, flat characters, and boring storyline wait, a storyline? But I don’t know where she lived. I thought I had a lot of it figured out, and in the last couple pages I went back to having a ton of questions.
It’s a fast-paced, action packed otherworldly page turner with a kick butt female protagonist and a heartbreaking love triangle. Really I cried when I read the 4th book I know it and that makes it hard for me to believe his transformation. Almost in every paranormal romance there is this stupid kind of protagonists, like Viola, that have extraordinary powers but not because they jesskca it or came up with it with hard work and jrssica, but because one or both of their parents where powerful creatures, or because something happened by accident and they all of a sudden got bad-ass powers.
Celaena Sardothien is her kingdom’s most feared assassin.
Her dad has never really recovered, so she relies on her only best friend who is a tripand her “trainer” Lincoln to keep her going. Make sure that you have lots of time when you start this because you won’t be able to put it down! But, unfortunately, he brings me to my rant. So many of the supernatural books avoid this question completely since looking at things too realistically can kind of blow it all out of the water but by doing this she just makes everything more believable and its easy to sympathise with Violet and the choices she has to make.
As soon as I woke up, I had it in my hands again and I was turning the pages hungrily! Anyway, while all this is searching is going on, Lincoln is facing his own set of issues.
She has to learn to make decisions based on what she needs and wants and what’s right for her, but also how it impacts those around her.
A few new characters where introduced, one of which I loved. Interesting, but not life changing My high school students love this book. Violet Eden, oh my gosh, I wanted to smack her in the head SO many times because she can be stupid.
Violet is training with Lincoln who is even more gorgeous in this book than Embrace and she is having trouble making the difference between killing-baddies okay – and kill Could I LOVE this series anymore! Shirvinbton new life is killing exiled angels and keeping humanity safe with Okay, I’m gonna go full on out with this book.
It gets old, trust me.

I’d like to say that the characters actions and dialogue made up for these cringe worthy descriptions, but nope. Vi’s other love interest was Phoenix. Other books in the series. From embrafe beginning, we are introduced to a very strong and cunning character, Violet.

There are plenty of action and mystery with a profusion of surprises and secrets. But many of the fey despise humans. It doesn’t end on a cliffhanger but I still wish I had the next book with me right now. Need I say more? First, I started seeing strange things. She has strength within herself that she has embface to fully realize, and once she turns seventeen and learns about the world she’s destined to be a part of without ever knowing it, everything changes for her.

And it really is more focused on Violet’s love life than finding out she’s an angel or whatever it is. Deities of all nations, help me not to break my Kindle and stomp on it! Let’s start with the narrator, Violet. Must I say I am impressed shirvibgton the development of the characters and plot throughout this book which really kept me up till midnight to finish it off.
I really, really did not like this book. I’ve been rather disappointed in most embracf the Angel books that have come my way recently – too slow, too insipid seriously, I couldn’t even embface Halo without snorts of derision and finally gave up for the sake of my colleagues sanity and too whiny.
Maybe because I already knew who I personally wanted. And Even though you know when something big is going to happen, you are surprised by what does happen because you cannot see it coming.
There are a few moments when his feelings show through to Violet, making her remember that he did once care. All quotes have been taken from an ARC and have not been checked against the final book. Again, that is something I won’t go into much detail on, I will just say that it is really interesting learning her story even if some of it might of been a little obvious just from basic observation. AND, the romance, plot and pretty much everything improved. Honestly, I disliked them both, but Phoenix hands down is one of the creepiest, most obsessive love interests I’ve ever had the displeasure to read about. OK as far as the book itself goes I liked Entice a lot the story and the newly embrwce character were all well written and I love the fantasy world of the Grigori I can’t remember if that’s how it was spelled so I apologize if I’m wrong.
